Keyboard Evolution

What is Keyboard???
External input devices used to type data into some sort of computer system whether it be a mobile device, a personal computer, or another electronic machine.


 Typewriter


  • The invention of the modern computer keyboard began with the invention of the typewriter. Christopher Latham Sholes designed the typewriter that we commonly use today in 1868. 
  • The Remington Company mass marketed the first typewriters starting in 1877.


Clicky keyboard

                    
  • A class of computer keyboard manufactured by IBM, Lexmark, Unicomp and MaxiSwitch, starting in 1984. 
  • There are many different variations of the keyboard have their own distinct characteristics, with the vast majority having a buckling spring key design and many having fully swappable key-carp.


 Foldable Keyboard
 
  • Full-size keyboard that folds in half , and easy to bring it to everywhere and use less space.
  • A tab key on the number pad allows one-handed number entry into forms and spreadsheets, leaving your other hand free to hold or flip through information being entered.


 Wireless solar keyboard

  • It is a solar-powered keyboard, and can become fully charged even by low levels of ambient light, such as a lamp.
  • The layout of dedicated Mac-specific keys, such as eject, brightness, and command. The keys are concave in shape to assist typing speed and accuracy, and also designed to be reasonably quiet.

Virtual Laser Keyboard
 


  • The power of laser and infrared technology and projects a full-size keyboard on any flat surface. 
  • When we type on the laser projection, detection technology based on optical recognition enables the user to tap the images of the keys, complete with realistic tapping sounds, which feed into the compatible Bluetooth-enabled PDA, Smartphone, laptop or PC.
